• What is ELF?

Edible Landscape Foundation, ELF, is an Agricultural Education 501c3 nonprofit. ELF helps anyone learn how to create a long term beneficial impact on their community, through the use of Landscape Design and Planting that creates food resources and habitat for humans and wildlife alike.

Through intentional planting and design, within the underutilized spaces of our communities, we can provide for several important needs: food, green space, and wildlife habitat.

Growing food outside of the traditional garden box is important for the environment and our mental health. Creating habitat for life helps us all thrive and grow a better world, while we practice healthy hobbies and ways of life.

Whether we are planting a community food forest in a neighborhood, at a school, or a church, or creating keystone wildlife habitat in timber lands and conventional farmlands, we are Growing Food to End Hunger.

You’re not from Louisiana? That’s OK! We can help anyone that shares our goals, no matter where they are from.
