• What is ELF?

Edible Landscape Foundation, ELF, is an Agricultural Education 501c3 nonprofit.

ELF helps anyone learn how to create a long-term beneficial impact on their community through Landscape Design and Planting that creates food resources and habitats for humans and wildlife.

Through intentional planting and design within the underutilized spaces of our communities, we can provide for several vital needs: food, green space, and wildlife habitat.

Growing food outside the traditional garden box is vital for the environment and mental health. Creating a habitat for life helps us all thrive and develop a better world while we practice healthy hobbies and ways of life.

Whether we are planting a community food forest in a neighborhood, at a school, or a church, or creating keystone wildlife habitat in timber lands and conventional farmlands, we are Growing Food to End Hunger.

Are you not from Louisiana? That’s OK! We can help anyone who shares our goals, regardless of where they are from.

Our first Food Forest was planted in 2021, and all donations go to education and creating Edible Landscapes for the world to enjoy.
